Nestled in the hills of central West Virginia, 
Gilmer County High School is located in the small city of Glenville.  One of the more rural counties in the state, Gilmer  County  encompasses  340 square  miles  of central Appalachian foothills and has a population  of approximately 7,200.  Gilmer County High School enrolls 432  students in  grades 7 through 12. We  are  proud to offer students a quality academic curriculum through our program of studies, extra-curricular activities, remediation and tutoring opportunities.
